Bov leaking?

Hey, i had my car on and i disconnected the recirculating hose on the bov and air was coming out. Is this normal or is it a boost leak?

It did the same on my second gen and my Evo8 bov, both were the stock ones. I'm not sure about my HKS, it's recirculated.

some bovs stay open at idle....so yes thats normal. its also one of the reasons that a car will idle like crap if the bov isnt recirculated. rev the car and the bov will close, then once you let go of the throttle, itll open/ blow off
