So I was offered a 92 Elantra which is in very nice condition aside from a blown head gasket. The kid told me it had either a (swap) Mitsu 1.8, or 2.0 in it with the Hyundai valve cover. The engine does look the same but I am starting to think it's either going to be a 1.6, or 1.8... DOHC. The engine starts up but exhaust is making its way through the cooling system so thats how I figured the head gasket was bad. I have a 2.0L Turbo head sitting here and was kind of curious that even if it was a 1.6 or 1.8 how the 2.0L head with the turbo cams would run on it, maybe even the 2.0L injectors. Anyway I bought the car for $200 and the body makes up for the price. I think I'll go up to O'Reilly's and grab a head gasket for $35 and change it and sell the car off for a little profit. I took a picture of it but I cant find my damn data cable so I'll have to upload it later.

Well just thought I'd share.
