Bottom end break in help

soo looked and searched. only found a couple things about it. my head was rebuilt about 2000 miles ago. but im in the process of doin the bottom end right now. soo is there any specific way to seat the rings correctly? ive heard rev 2000 rpm for 20 minutes? and ive heard mash it from 30-50 12 times. didnt know if any of those sound correct to u??

Its a personal preference thing really.

Some people like to break the engine in with the same type of abuse it will see its whole life. Like race they will mash on it allot.

Me personally I take mine out on the highway for a few minutes on conventional oil and be easy with it then 500 miles change the oil with conventional and do a mild bit of throttle for another 500 miles, then I change out to synthetic blend for 1500 miles then full synthetic for the rest of its life. Rite after the 2nd oil change I drive it like I normally would.

Let it warm Up to operating temp then take in out and do a few hard pulls. Dont go rag on it but dont be easy on it. The purpose of a hone is to file the rings properly for best seat. If your too easy on it the hone will were down before the rings seat properly resulting in lower compression. This has to be done on the first run because the modern hone wares off quickly.
Also I do not recommend synthetic I use regular 10-w30. Change oil and filter after 50 miles and then again after 500 then go to your normal 3000 mile changes.
