Bosch Fuel pump question?

Well i decided to change my check somethings under the car today and i found something weird with the fuel setup the car has, when i bought the car i was told that it had a inline bosch fuel pump but when i look at it today it did not look like a bosch 044, i decided to pull it off and look at it and the part number read bosch 0 580 464 023. Im wondering if this is another type of 044 pump or if it is some where close. Any one have a clue?

Hi,

This is the Bosch "023" pump I think you are talking about, but according to the website it seems like it is an in tank pump. Maybe they make an inline adapter for it. You have any pictures of it or how it was installed?
