bore size question (among others)

ok so i was looking at stroker pistons and i was wondering what size motor would a .020 overbore get me? .040? also if i stroke the motor to a 2.3l for example do i need a bigger crank as well? rods? i was looking around and people mostly have 2.3l strokers is that the biggest? BC has a stroker kit that says can stroke it to 2.4l are stroker kits worth it or would i be better off buying like wiseco pistons eagle rods and another crank?

Well first off what we need more information. What are you goals for the car? DD, weekend driver, track car. How much power are you looking to make? At what RPM do you want to be at full boost? What turbos do you have in mind?

I see that your FWD, usually staying with the 2.0 is a better choice becuase the extra turbo lag helps with traction.

i really would like a street car dd i was thinking about going for 500hp but then remembered i was fwd and maintenance must be a headache. im aiming for anywhere in the 400-450 range because im hoping i can keep traction in 3rd gear

I would just build a 2.0l, 2G pistons on 1G rods would hold that all day and save you some money. Put some 280 cams in there with a 50 trim or even better a 3052. I would shoot for making power alittle higher in the RPM range, it will help with traction.

I would also look into a full coilover suspension, slicks/drag radials and a LSD.
