quick question bore size

im puting in my pistons and i need to know how far to gap the rings. everyone else on here has a 2.4 that has a post on gapping. i got a 4g63 bored .02 over i know its 0.004-.006 per inch of bore, times bore size i just dont know the size when its oversized thanks

Your pistons should have come with an ring gap sheet. On my .020" motor I went .018". There are TONS of threads about ring gap. Refine your search a little.

Why? That's a very reasonable question. Granted he didn't search properly for it that is no reason to questions his abilities.

Just saying, if you dont know the answer to something that simple.. or his other thread... shouldnt be building motors..
