Ok I have a b16g(externally gated), 550s, 190, fmic, greddy type s, safcII, etc....Now I did several logs in 3rd gear and at about 4300 the timing drops to 11 which is when I achieve full boost ON A 16G! My timing drops to 11 and steadily increases to 22 so I don't think its a tuning issue.....anyways heres the problem..My car boosts, but just doesn't "pull" very hard for whats done to it. I have boost leak tested and it only leaks around the BISS screw. I have an external wastegate and yes the flapper is welded completely shut, I just don't understand why I can't achieve full boost until 4300?? I have checked base timing with my pocket logger(not a very trusty source) and its about 8degrees advanced, which is what is should be if the ecu isn't grounded....It might be my MBC just not too sure..I have a Turboxs POS. I tried t-ing it off of my BOV and realized that wasn't a good idea, so I just ran it off the P port off my throttle body for now. Could this be causing this boost issue? also I can only boost like 18pounds with the boost controller on. And if I disconnect it It boost over 20??? I just don't understand whats going on. My car feels like it has a 14b. Please help!

What psi spring do you have in your wastegate? Generally they are packaged with one < 14.5psi meaning that with no boost controller at all, the maximum boost you'd see would be 14.5psi, which is not the case with your setup.

I assume the wastegate is welded to the manifold. Is the manifold a stock 2G or somethign else? Also if you can post a pic of your setup that could help me visualize things :dsm:
