I picked up a car that i know nothing about and im trying to piece together the puzzle with everyones help. It runs and drives rough but will boost up and move pretty good. it hesitates and cuts out at low rpms or when i try to drive it slow and normal around town. I found a couple things unplugged so i was wondering what they are for and go from there. i also notice one of my injectors in black instead of yellow like the other 3. :( but one thing at a time. what is this sensor in the first pic.? looks almost like an 02 sensor. and the second one is the red one, it has a cap on the female end but im curious why they are unpluged from eachother.

better pic

Pretty sure bottom right goes to the back of your intake manifold. Need to take closer pictures of the sensors. It also looks like he has to 1:1 FPRs dont know whats up with that either.

Have you traced everything back to where it goes. Such as the first pic, is it for a wideband you may have?? Others, I have no dang clue LOL

I think they unpluged it to put in the wideband in the back of the intake. should i put it back in? where should i hook up the wideband if this is the case

If they did that you need to question everything that they have done as far as turboing goes. Yes plug that back in, pretty sure its some kind of vacuum sensor which would explain the rough idle. You will probably have to weld a bung to the exhaust for the wideband, the closer to the front of the car, the better. I have mine about a foot past the oil pan.

The big silver thing looks like a FMU used in most cheepo turobo/supercharger setups.
The brass sensor looks like a Air Intake Temp sensor. Or it could be a map sensor for a electric boost gauge.
The other one in your hand looks like the factory Air Intake Temp sensor, both have nothing to do with a wideband and should be in the intake track.
It also looks like there is not a vacuum line hooked up to your bov witch is venting to nowhere.

All i can tell from those pics.

It looks like the begi rising rate aka 1:1 fpr and then right next to it looks like a aeromotive 1:1 or knockoff cant tell. Thats another thing that is confusing why would he need two.:ohdamn:

Great info guys. Once again its been so damn cold to work on anything. It might be traded sunday so i gota suck it up and just swap around that intake sensor and do the exhaust manifold gasket. Im saving up $ for A 1994 gsx
