when i first start my car in the morning, my boost gauge will read about 21 vacuum. and if i drive for about 5 minutes or if i give it some real boost pressure, then my boost gauge will read 0. after it it gets to the point that it gets to a "0" reading, it rarely ever goes back to the normal vacuum reading anymore for the rest of the drive. if i let go of the gas, it stays at 0, if i give it a little bit of gas, then it will have some vacuum, like about 3-5 vacuum. but if i give it some serious throttle, then it goes past 0, but when it does, the need starts shaking, and i and feel very little boost. it would shake from like 3-5 boost. if i give it full throttle, them some times it would shake at higher readings. and sometimes, no matter how much throttle i give it, it will just sit at 0, but i still feel pressure, i still feel a boost in the car, just A LOT LESS. is this a sure sign of a boost leak? what should i do? i tried the boost leak test, but the valve stem kept popping off, i'll be building a better one tommorrow. TIA

Well I do recall when I didn't hook my pcv valve hose back up my vacuum was extremely low and the car would barely run, but you say your car is running fine. It does sound like you have a leak though. Use some jb weld on that leak tester, has held up for me for quite sometime now. It seems as if I have that thing out a couple times a week anymore too.
