boost spikes????????? help

i just installed a boost controller and the boost spikes to 26 psi and stays at 20 psi i tried to adjust it and it wont change it stays the same

i got the instrutions from

i know i installed it right what can it be

You positive that the boost controller is installed correctly? Sounds like a boost controller issue rather than a gauge issue.

What type of boost controller is it?

Do you have it installed backwards. It should be installed were you have to change the boost settings with your right hand. Change it around and see what happens.

i hooked up the boost source to the vac. hose that hose to the bov i T off and i put the other end to the wastegate
