What effect will boost leak have on logging results? For instance will boost leak cause knock change in a/f. What will happen?

Thanks

Should lower A/F ratios since the ECU is supplying fuel for "X" amount of AIR (as read by the MAS) but receiving less than X.

Another side effect is your turbo will have to work harder to supply the same psi (as set on your boost controller) so the boosted air will be heated more.. which can also lower A/F.

A leak in the intake tract will suck in more air when the engine is seeing vacuum, causing the fuel trims to increase. The leak will let air out when boosting, causing the engine to run rich.
