Fixed some leaks, but every time I pressurize the system to 12-14 my tester falls off. The turbo is a s16g, and I am thinking its the adapter on the turbo inlet(black rubber thing). Has anyone else had this problem? If so did removing the black adapter and getting a smaller coupler work?

Any feedback is much appreciated!

Make sure you have a clamp on the tester just as you would on the intake pipe.
 
Yeah, I would definitely recommend just getting a smaller coupler. I made my tester using either a 2" or 2.5" PVC fittings and a 2" or 2.5" rubber coupler from the hardware store where I worked at the time. Worked on the stock T25, T28, and my 16G.

You should try to put the coupler directly on the turbo inlet. It will hold to that better than it would the rubber spacer, but that's assuming that you can clamp it enough. Also, a T bolt clamp would be able to hold much more strongly than a standard corkscrew pipe clamp.

sounds good, I would like to add that my boost leak tester stays in the coupler. The coupler blows off as a whole with the boost leak tester still in it.

That's why I recommended a smaller coupler. The tester itself is way larger than the inlet of the turbo, though, so it might be a challenge to find a coupler that can drop the diameter from I'm guessing 4" down to 2" or 2.5". Hence the suggestion of an option to build your own.

I just pulled out my tester and it's a 2" coupler.

okay the diameter is 3 inch, ill try looking if not ill make another.
 
make sure your tester has a lip on the end so the clamp has something to hold on to when its about to blow off. if not try using a t bolt clamp. it should clamp it pretty hard and make it alot harder for the tester to blow off.
