I found a boost leak yesterday while doing a leak test. There's a hole in one of the silicon joints that hold the intercooler piping together. I called SlowBoy today and order a couple new silicon joints, but they wont be here for about a week. Here's my question:

Is my car OK to drive for a week w/ the boost leak? Or am I going to ruin something?

My boost is only falling off to about 10 PSI and I believe it was set at 14. Any help would be greately appreciated.

thanks -Paul-

You are causing the car to run richer than normal and may foul out your spark plugs sooner. If it is a big leak then I would suggest trying something to remedy it temporarily til you get the new couplers. Running too rich could cause excess fuel to run down past the rings and thin out the oil and cause bearing failure, all of which would take some time to happen but it is a possibilty.

Personally I wouldn't run WOT until you get the new coupler. Even though your boost is falling off to 10 psi, your turbo is working overtime and out of it's efficiency range to create that boost level. Just take it easy for a week and let your turbo relax. :thumb:
