Boost leak or lag?

Hey i was driving home today and i was in 4th gear so i wanted to get moving a bit faster so i started pulling hard at full boost my car motor felt like it was breakin up , like my plugs were bad kinda like when it feels like when u redline and it revs up and down really fast, my car has been runnin pretty rich also , could this be the problem?, i was at a meet today and a few guys said i blew out some black smoke when i took off, so that means i was running real rich, could this be my problem?

Make sure you have no boost leaks and change your plugs/wires if you haven't done so.

Our cars run rich from the factory...

Upgrade the wires.....As well as the coil pack you could do it for under $100 if you look well enough.

ive never heard of upgrading the coil pack??? are all coil packs on dsms the same??? and what kind or brand should you be looking for in a coil ??

He's probably saying that you should replace your coil pack. An upgrade from the coil pack is a coil on plug setup which is something that you do not need.

Do what CandianTSi suggested you try doing and hopefully that will clear up your problem.

well i brought my car to the shop cause it was blowin oil out everywhere, and i need a new crankseal, 450$
