As the title says, the boost in my car is hitting 1k RPM's later than i'd normally feel it. (Mods I know of: 16g turbo {not sure if small, big, or evo3}, and a full 3'' exhaust all the way back).
Here's what went down. I was redoing my strut towers, and in the process my hallman pro mbc came in the mail so i installed it to test it out when I finished the struts. I installed it properly, and when I was running with it last night, I could see the boost hitting at 3k RPM's (and feel it) and then by 4K it would be at 8-9 PSI and maxed out. I felt the car respond much faster than it did before, and I only imagined what it would feel like higher up so I did what any boost lover did. Played with the MBC. I read the controller, and turned it about 1'' to where it would be increased. Hopped in my car, and went speeding off. Only the boost was hitting later, and I felt not nearly as much despite my gauge saying the same amount was being pushed.
I tried playing with it more later in the day then, and trying to push it higher thinking maybe I did it backwards some how. I was turning the other way, and after a brief point I felt it tigethening, it proceeded to start feel like it was loosening again; so I went back the original direction I did the first time, feeling it tighten for a little, then get back to loser again. I'm not quite sure what's going on with it. I just want my boost back and to be at 3K RPM's again. Thanks for reading this wall of text!

Didn't think that one through. I'll take them off when things are a little more cooled down and then go ahead and test them. Hopefully it's something simple like that. *My wastegate nipple is 1/4'', and the hose that connects onto the MBC is 1/2''. I stuck the old 1/4'' hose into the 1/2'' line and then used a clamp to hold it down. Could this be effecting it?
