My boost gauge reads -10 at idle and when reving the motor the boost goes to +10 boost is that right or is it supposed to go to zero when reving

Stock boost gauge or an aftermarket one? If it is the stock gauge built into the dash alongside the tach, don't believe anything it tells you, and get a real boost gauge, ie by autometer or such.

ummit should go to zero unless your revving the crap out of it, but i have never seen 10psi not moving
