ok so when i bought my boost gauge it only came with japanese directions so i'm in the dark about some stuff. i know that i have to hook the wires up to a 12v fuse but the vacuum line is where i'm lost. where does the t connector hook up to? does it hook up to the vacuum line for my waste gate or somewhere else? i'm really confused...thanks for the help :thumb:

Usually people cut the hose for their fuel pressure regulator and splice it in their. I'm not entirely sure on a 1g but I believe it should be close to the rear drivers side under the hood at the top of the firewall. If you do a search you should be able to find pictures.

He's right, that's how mine is setup, T'd off the FPR and I ran the vaccum hose through the firewall port above the pedals then snaked it behind the guage cluster up to the A Pillar.

+1

Thats how i did mine and havnt had any problems.

This is definitely the most accurate way to install a boost gauge. Also, the easiest way to get through your firewall is probably using the steering wheel boot (behind your break peddal). Also - if you have a dimmer the wires should usually set up as:

red - live, 12v
black - ground
orange - dimmer switch (connect to a power source that only goes on when the lights go on)

good luck!

just a quick FYI! Just make sure, when running your vacume line, that it will not kink anywhere or be pinched. I had the same problem and realized it was being pinched in behind the dash. Just double check everything.
