So I bough an iEquus boost gauge from O'Reilly a couple days ago and attempted to install it. The first problem I ran into was that the provided T fitting to put in the line was way to big to fit the hose going to the FPR. So I went to lowe's and picked up some brass fittings and installed them. I got the whole thing installed and got the tubing through the firewall, after many failed attempts, and I go to check it out and the light always stays on. I followed a guide that said to tap into the green wire with the white stripe for power to the light but apparently I tapped the wrong green wire. So I went back and checked out all the other wires and found another green wire with a white stripe and tapped that one and I still have the same problem. Also when I started the car to make sure it worked the gauge dropped to about 21 or 22 mmHg and I thought that was a little low. Any help is greatly appreciated =D

You need a test light or DMM and a wireing diagram to find a wire that is hooked up to your parking light switch or headlight switch so the boost gauge light will turn on and off with your normal light. As for the your other question about the 22mmg that is prerfecctly normal for a stock engine so dont worry about that.:hellyeah:

Ok so I figured out which wire was the correct one and now I have it wired up do the back light on the gauge comes on when the headlights come on. But is 21mmHg a normal reading at idle?

It was answered above.

Should be more around 22inHg IIRC. Do a boost leak test if you have any doubts about correct vacuum or boost pressure. In fact it should be done as periodic maintenance to make sure your car is running at it's fullest.

Ok sweet just making sure. I pulled the restrictor out of the BCS on my stock 92 talon so I think that's why mine is a little higher.
