Ok I been reading on here for a couple of weeks now and found most of what i been looking for. my boost drops from 15 to 10 once i hit 5000 rpms. I did a presssure test and found a leak fixed it. but it still drops from 15 to 10. any one know why? could it be be cause i need an afpr? Or is it cause i dont have a boost controller?\

i'm not setting the boost its on it own. check my page to see what is all done to the car.
so the t25 cant handle it to redline. I shift it at 6000 so. if i get a boost controller what could i set it to to hold till 6000?
 
well the guy i bought the car from gave me a t3/t4 turbo and a manifold to put on it. i forgot what all he said i needed to buy to put it on.

You might be able to hold 10-12 psi to 6000. The the t25 losses it after about 5000
 
the car use to hold 15-17 before then it all of a sudden quit holding. i knew the guy that owned the car before me.


I have been searching but cant seem to find what oil line i need for the t3/t4. i was looking on slow boy racing. can some one tell me which one i need?
 
can some one tell me about the turbo i have. like if it is good or not. sorry i dont know anything about turbos i an new to this.
the turbo has the following markings
the turbo says xs power on the intake side and is a/r.50 the exhaust side says a/r.84
the type is t04e
part number is t3/t4 "p" trim
serial number 04113366

i think i'll pass guys :) and keep my stuff. can some oen tell me what fittings from slow boy racing or some other site i need to order to hook up the oil lines to the new turbo. none of them have an option for an xs turbo.
 
any one? some one must of put this turbo on. I have been searching but cant find anything.

Go to the tech guide section and look under the turbo link, there's lots of stuff there, you're bound to find your turbo and the necessary info.
 
already went through that every one had the flange i am looking for but i dont know if they are the same since on the slow boy racing site they have them listed for different types of turbos garret,gt30,mitsu and so fourth. but none thing about a xs power turbo.
 
Please some one help me find the oil flange for my turbo i talked about I would like to put this on. Do i have a knock off brand turbo or something? cause no where on the turbo does it say garret or gt30 or anything. just says XS power. and i cant find anything about it. also why is this so cheap?

also is it ok to run my car off the wastegate? as in bypass the stock boost controller? i bought a joe p mbc but i cant get it to set and hold like 12 psi. and by just running off the wastegate it will hold 10 fine and jump to 12 when i shift. I just dont want to over work my poor t-25 any more. its lived a good life.
 
here is the deal. until you can get the t25 set with your mbc you have about as much business strapping a bigger turbo on as you do placing your fingers on a train track to see if the train jumps.

NONE.

there are a lot of things you need to
a) know how to do
b) be able to do
c) have done first
d)have the tools and guages to monitor and adjust.

I got the mbc to work what i meant was i couldnt get it to hold at 12-13 it still drops down to 10 when it hits 5000. I thought maybe i had it hooked up backward so I switch the lines on the mbc opened it up all the way, went for a run bam about 30 psi of boost scared the shit out of me. So i put them hoses back the way i had them. maybe the hoses i used are to small? i reused all the old hoses and the T connector from the stock boost controller for my mbc. And i know how to do every thing I just cant find the parts to do it.
 
You will need a lot more than just the turbo. You have to have injectors, a way to control the injectors (SAFC), Fuel Pressure Regulator, intercooler, etc. Plus all the knowledge to be able to correctly tune your car. Read up ALOT. Dont be so hasty to throw on a big turbo. Ive had my t-25 on for a year now, just getting ready to upgrade to a 14b and work my way up. Ive learned alot and i have taken my time. Good Luck.
 
1. That Evo 3 16g is SSautochrome, otherwise known to be CRAP.
2. Im not sure what your looking for on that turbo. The oil line. Return, Supply?
