boost drops off

Ok I been reading on here for a couple of weeks now and found most of what i been looking for. my boost drops from 15 to 10 once i hit 5000 rpms. I did a presssure test and found a leak fixed it. but it still drops from 15 to 10. any one know why? could it be be cause i need an afpr? Or is it cause i dont have a boost controller?\

Yeah, stay away from the ebay turbos for now.
Also, since this hasn't really been touched yet. You will either a: need to buy a fpr asap or b: put the stock fuel pump back in. That 255 of yours is way to much.

The T25 no matter what you do it is almost impossible to hold boost past 5500. If you want to hold up thier just go grab a 14b.

As for teh XS power turbo, your be replacing it within a month and a half.

well that sucks I really wanted to put this thing on. guess I can sell this stuff on ebay and save up for a different turbo.

Yes I know I need an afpr I am going to buy the afpr kit from import evolution.

and ya I was looking for the oil return and supply flanges

also can I ask why the turbo will need replaced in a month an a half?

this has nothing to do with my thread title but no sence in me making a new a thread.
i searched but couldnt find it.

I am leaking brake fluid into my car its dripping down the back of the clutch pedal. I just throught my slave was leaking. i looked up to the top but its kinda hard to see any one know what part needs to be replaced to make this stop. my carpet is all stained.

one USUALLY doesn't long out last the other since the seals decay at a pretty even rate.

If someone will give you cash for that turbo & manifold I'd sell it to them. Just make sure you don't know them cause in a months time when it completeyly falls apart they won't be happy . They are knock off crap and wont last, see here

and there are a tonn of other post on the same products with the same answers. But listen to the oter posts, your boost drops off because the t25 is way to small and there are alot of other parts you should be bolting on first before you slap a big turbo on and expect to go fast, & then wonder why you blew your motor. Look at the tunning guide on this website & go from there.

alright i bought the import evolution afpr kit and got it all hooked up set bfp to 42.5 like it said but it says that when i connect the vacum line that it will only drop a couple psi but mine drops down to 30. is this right? Do I need to rewire my 255? I am scared to push the car now cause i dont wanna hurt the motor.

any one? I search but all I keep finding is that people say the pressure drops after they hook up the vacuum line but not what it drops to.

Never mind i looked in my chilton and with the vacuum line attached its suppose to be at 33
