boost controller wont work

i followed the diy on the homemade boost controller found on the link below and i hooked it up just like they say to and it does nothing still running 14 psi no matter where i get the adjustment screw? am i missing some thing here or what? even if i tighten the bolt all the way down so the ball bearing will not move at all i get no more or less boost?

its ran just like the diagrame says! if the 2g bov is boost leaking would that limit the amount of boost?

not real sure.. before i crushed my 1g bov the boost was coming out but my gauge still read at what it was set at..

ok so i did the (dodge garage mod) to my 2g blow of valve and now the boost is way way to high? even if i losen the mbc all the way out it still dont controller it? any ideas?

do you have an aftermarket boost gauge? or are you going by the one in the gauge cluster?

Let me know if you need someone to come by and lend a hand. I have a manual vacuum pump and a coolant pressure tester with the radiator cap adapter removed. They work awesomely for testing this type of stuff.

I don't know if I have time for a turbo swap, but if you need help figuring out whats up with the boost control, I could stop by Sunday morning. My girl is expecting me at her parents for steaks by around 3 or 4ish. PM me if that works for you.
