ok... so i used to have this crappy home made boost i made at the hardware store, which i could get to set at about 10psi consistantly, but no higher(it did the job) but i recently got the dejon tool boost controler and have it hooked up exactly the way i had the other one, and it is as if its not even hooked up. the boost just spikes straight to 25psi plus if i give it ne thing more than half throttle

You need to give more info, what type of mbc (ball and spring.....) and give detail description of where all the hoses are coming and going, pics would be great.

10 psi is the stock setting for the actuator so it's possible you never hooked up the home made one correctly tp begin with.

ya, i figured the problem out. the ball bearing in the boost controller for what ever reason was stuck and wasnt moving around, so no matter how i ajusted the boost controller it never made ne difernce.......it works fine and runn 18 psi consistantly now :thumb:
