Boost control solenoid emissions passing trick? will it work

I have to take my car to emissions but i have a turbo actuator CEL. The easy solution to this problem would be get one and hook it up, but i have to go tomorrow and haven't been able to find one in the last few days.

I am wondering if i can hook a compacitor to it with the correct resistance (like the DIY 02 simulator) to get the check engine light off. Has anyone ever done this or know the correct one to get if it will work?

Also, i know we can clear codes with the logger, but the guy at emissions once told me he can tell if that has been cleared (guessing because the cars readiness monitors etc.) but is this only when people clear them by disconnecting the battery? If i clear the code right before they hook it up, i'm thinking i will still fail but not sure. Any ideas?

Do you guys know how long it takes for the readiness monitors to be "good to go" (15mins or so?) because sometimes i clear my code and it comes back on soon and other times it take a while. If the readiness is good and the code still isn't on will it pass or is this just not possible?

If you just want the CEL of and can't fix the problem in time and cant reset it without know when it will come back on, just take out the gauge cluster and remove the CEL bulb and after you go to emissions put the bulb back in and try to fix your problem. Not sure if you will pass or not cause I've never had to worry about emissions.

Then you used a resistor instead of a capacitor.

What kind of resister? I'm in the same boat right now, I need a BCS but can't find one and it needs to be done ASAP.

The reason it doesn't pass inspection because when you clear the codes the one for evaporative is cleared and that one take quite a bit of driving before the evap reads what it should
