boost adjustment?

Can I just adjust the rod on the 16g wastegate to 15lbs or do I need some type of controller to adjust the boost that high?

You need a controller, just get a manual boost controller for now it will work fine. If you have money to spare go ahead and get an electric one.

I would use a manuel controller but if your boost starts spiking all over the place spend the extra money for an electric controller

Get a mbc... U can get some in the classifieds for as low as $60 depending on the brand

Yea I usually never had luck, with the whole actuator adjustment nut method. MBC all the way.

You can make your own for as little as $10.

Pretty much. This is off the top of my head. I did this 2 years ago.

I went to the hardware store. I got a peice of pipe that looked like a T had internal threads.
I then bought the right sized nipples () for it. 3 to be exact.
I then found a ball bearing that would fit in one of the nipples, if I blowed threw it the bearing should seal off the barbed part of it. I then inseared a spring in one end, which made resistance on the ball bearing.

After that I cut one of the nipples (haha) so that it was pretty much just the thread. I then used a tap to thread it internally. I then installed a bolt. The bolt would push on the spring, the spring would push on the ball bearing and that would seal off boost, until eventually boost would overcome spring pressure and send air out the middle nipple, which went to the wastegate actuator.

I know sounds confusing. Very simple. Someone will chime in .

You can not really adjust boost through the WGA. You could try shimming it with metal washers and a bit longer bolts.

Buy a good manual boost controller and kick the boost up a notch. to go any higher you need some fuel and tuning pieces.
