Normal,
does anyone have any opinions on either of these exhaust? I have been doing much research into what type i will be gettin but i cant decide whether or not the slip fit is the way to go.

I have a slip fit and I love it, very easy to install/uninstall. Doesn't leak or anything and if it did, so what? as long as it's post turbo who cares :thumb:

I have a slip fit exhaust. It came with U-bolt clamps and the exhaust came apart on me twice between the downpipe and the cat. I went to a band clamp style and haven't had a problem since. The band clamps are a little pricey. ~$15 for a 3" SS. I think slip fit is nice though because it gives you a little room to play and get a good seal if everything doesn't line up perfectly. You don't have to worry about flange gaskets with slip fit. Plus you don't have to worry about flange bolts getting seized, although I suppose the clamp bolts could seize as well. On my 5 year old stock exhaust, I had to cut off several of the exhaust flange bolts because they would just not come out.

I have a slipfit and I put it on with no clamps at all and I only had one tiny leak. After my clamps arrived I put them on and havent had any problmes at all. Another option is to get flanges put on.
