I don't know alot about slip fit exhausts. Do I just slip the pieces together and be done with it, or is there some kind of clap I am needing to use?

There are clamps. If you dont have the clamps on correctly you'll get an exhaust leak which isn't good.....unless you're trying to pass the E test....

I run a slip fit exhaust with no clamps, I think one of my connections leak's slightly but its after the Turbo so who cares...

It also just passed an E-test a few months ago.

What do the clamps look like, or what are they called so I know what to ask for

Band clamps. There are different styles including preformed ones which make install a little easier but they are not necessary. They all do the same thing although if the clamp is too rigid it may slightly crush the joint making future removal difficult. They can be found at many auto stores. Here is a link to a place that has decent prices.

damn! that's what I should have got. (I put it on last night).
It sounds really loud, almost annoying(3" RNR, O2 elim. W/ O2 dump, no cat 4" magnaflow). But to my suprise I didn't get as much boost creep as I expected, only 1 PSI more. but It is MUCH faster. I ended up turning the boost down because of haw hard the evo3 hits now. And it hits full boost way quicker than before.
It was worth th investment for me once you get past the noise.

That is how it is. I love my RNR and think it sounds awesome being so loud. Nothing like going WOT and having a friend 1 mile back able to hear you :thumb:
