Body swap?

Ok so I have a 98 eagle talon esi / I found a 95 eclipse gst! My talon has a perfect body but the eclipse is rusted and Well the ugly body style! So my question is can the body be swapped easily? i mean I want to take my fenders hood and bumper pretty much everything from the talon and put it on the eclipse! would this be hard to do and how would i do it if possible?

yeah it can, its basically a conversion/ except the engines and trans

It can be done. I think its about the same amount of work as converting a talon to an eclipse. This is the first i have heard of someone converting an eclipse to a talon. Good luck with your work.

There's actually quite a few people that do this. Most commonly, it's done on the Spyders to make an Eagle Talon convertible (very stylish IMO). If I had the money, I'd make a nice Talon convertible for a DD.

no they arent the same color mines red ant the eclipse is black ... but i bought it eather way... So i started to take the eclipse apart comes to find out im alot better doing body work then doing motor work =] its alot of fun too! but ya. I figured it would be cheaper and better then turboing my esi talon ### its already turbo just wrecked but once its finished I will put up pics that way you guys can all check out the work! Should only take a week or two more!

It is just as easy as doing an Talon to Eclipse conversion!
