I did a compression test on my Talon tsi awd today while i was work.. if you remember the post yesterday i am having a blue smoke issue from the exhaust.. Mostly once the car warms up..

I checked out my turbo for shaft play, this one has very minimum side to side, no in and out.. feels good..

So i did a compression test and my numbers from 4-3-2-1 go as follow.

163-150-150-150.. they might be a number off each of them but you get the point..

What do you all think about these numbers and where i should go next with finding out where the blue smoke is coming from.

Valve stem seals....use a thicker oil.

If you're using 5W30 which you really shouldn't be, try 10W30 or 10W40. If you're using 10W30 try 15W40. I wouldn't go any thicker than 15W40 for winter time....just live with the problem if it's still there at that point. The only thing that's going to cure the problem is a head rebuild.

I've only ever ran 10-30w Mobile 1 synthetic in my cars.. =/

idk man.. im stumped haha

If your turbo isn't using oil and your compression is ok witch your numbers are i would also agree valve seals. But usually on cold start up valve seals can cause smoke as well so that's a little odd to me.
