Blown Engine?

Well I was on my way out of town today and ended up following a semi for about 20 miles. About 15 minutes into the trip I was giong about 60 and all of a sudden my car felt like I hit the brakes or something because it dropped down to about 50. I didn't know what to think of it at first but when I let off the gas my car shut off. I got it on a flatbed and got it home. When I went to try and fire it to see whats up it started and ran at probably 2-300rpm really low idle and it was struggling to run almost. I also hear a knocking sound coming from the engine bay. Like possibly something is blown. Anyone got any idea what it could be that would suddenly just go like that? I'm going to go drain the oil and check

I dropped the oil which was fairly new and I noticed it is green. Like dark green/brown in color and has lines that seperate it into clumps on the surface. So basically I have coolant in my oil I'm geussing.

yeah, thats what it sounds like to me... time for a new head gasket and maybe some ARP head studs!

He is right i blew the engine on my 99gsx if the knocking is getting louder/faster as you rev it more then likely its time to rebuild or replace.

Revving real low and what sounds like knocking with what looks like anti-freeze is REAL bad. Any signs of oil anywhere leaking outside. (something is broken)

Hi,

Drop the pan and check your connecting rods, maybe you hydrolocked a cylinder.

2: Inspect the crank OD and rod ID
3: Clevite Bearings

I will post pics of my crankshaft, rod, and the bearing I spun as well as measurements when I get to it.
