The problem with the Type S, is not holding psi at high boost levels. The problem is the transition from vacuum to low boost levels and then letting off throttle, you then get compressor surge (at least I do). On straight up accellarating it is not an issue.

Did you experience any of those problems?

thanks

Which of these bypass valves come with recirculation kits? I will try the bov both ways (vented and unvented), but If I have any stalling problems I would like the immediate option of recirculating that air.

To be more specific I'm looking for performance (ability to hold up to 30 psi though I'll probably never run that high), a nice release note, and a good price (in that order). I'm leaning towards the HSK SSQV because I like the design; however, I'm leaving myself open to suggestions so make them.

As always thanks.

Ok, the dilemna is that i want a loud arse BOV like the HKS ss i heard on an Mpeg, but i also want it to recirculate cause im pretty sure my car will run wayyyy to rich if i went it to the atomosphere. so, what kind of BOV is gonna give me loud ass/tight bov sounds without having to vent to the atmosphere?

on a side note, if i do vent to the atmosphere, i would have to redo the mas right?

I currently have a turbo XS rbv, its pretty good, not the best and far from the worst. I had a hks which i really liked, and ill prob go back to that when i get a fmic. I used a 1g for awhile to, didnt liek that to much. I like the adjustable bovs alot more. For the money its hard to bet a 1g bov though. :dsm:

I have heard almost every BOV on the market and I would have to say the Blitz is the best sounding and is loud as hell. I had it on my car but just switched to Tial (35psi on 60-1 maybe). I haven't heard the Tial yet so I hope it will work out well for me. I ran my blitz vented for 2 years with no problems what so ever. (I still have it for sale if anyone is interested). The HKS is a nice piece too but I just dont like the looks. If you can afford it, get the Tial. Or pick up a blitz if you want loud as hell. Just my opinion.
