Looks like a really nice valve. I wonder how much boost it holds? They should do an introductory group buy.

Bring it on!

$150.00 DSM Tuners members, free shipping.

Comes with three springs and valve tuning kit....

VERY nice pieces, and PLENTY in stock...

MGH

My buddy has one on his 04 GTI. It's a really nice piece and very easy to change the springs. I don't remember how much boost the stiffest spring is for, but I am sure it is plenty for any street driven dsm. The sound is equivalent to a 1g bov, but a little louder. No ricey sounds here, just business. :thumb:

I was just at slowboy today buying my Evo 16G and i actually saw these in person. They are a very nice peice. Lots of options as far as flanges, vent or re-circing, universal ones to make your own flange for, everything, and like i said before, they do look very nice :thumb:

Forge has been around in the VW world for a long time. After blowing up 3 plastic blow off valves on my wifes beetle we bought one. We just traded it in for a VR6 though, mmm VR6 powere again. I miss my old VR6 but I have another coming. Oh happy day. (I hate VW BTW...)

I gotta say these look really nice, and they look like the aluminized version of the stock 1g one.

will it hold 25+psi? I think im gonna order one in about a week and btw, do they bolt up to the stock 1g flange? I doubt it but I can weld so doesnt matter

Those are looking like VERY nice pieces. Once the limits of my 1g have been surpassed. The Forge bov looks like the best option. Hopefully it's right up with a Tial performance-wise.

Reading the thread could benefit you.

I must say that this is a pretty darn good looking bov. I prefer the shiny billet finish 100x more than the girly purple of a Type S ;). What on God's green Earth posessed Greddy to make their Type S bovs purple!?

My main question is whether the Forge bov that is meant to be recirc'd can be vented should the user decide to run a blow through/translator set-up?

And additionally, does the bov leak at idle enough to cause the idle surge and stall problems that people experience running stock bovs vented (many people running aftermarket bovs vented, even without MAFT set-ups are able to run just fine, simply run rich between shifts)?

I would like to get one of thouse valves but the problem is i don't see any of them for a 2G and plus they $170 not $150 w/Free S&H

Mitsubishi Evolution Parts (USES SAME RUBBER COUPLER AS STOCK 2G, Just sinch it with a hose clamp) Sorry guys, the new web kid is very "car illiterate, i'll get this changed soon. We have a new web page all planned out to replace this piece of shit, we just don't have all the parts on it yet to go live with it. Thanks again for your patience.

You can use the Evo Blow Off Valves with 2G and the 3000GT as they both just use the "pop in and hose clamp" style connectors. All you need to decide on is if you want to recirc the system or totally vent to the atmosphere.
