So at first my green blinker arrow was staying lit whenever I turned on my lights, but I replaced the blinker bulb and it fixed that. However, the light isn't very bright when flashing, and it doesn't light up when I turn my lights on. Make sense?

The driver side blinker light blinks dimly and fast, but won't stay lit when I have my lights on.

What the heck? I cleaned the copper connections in the little harness the light goes into. I used an 1157 bulb.

No one has any idea?

Make sure that the bulb is correct size, too small of a bulb will cause flasher to flash faster (almost as if a bulb was burned out). Try switching bulbs from side to side and see if other side will flash faster.

Isn't 1157 the correct size?

My bad, you are right. 1157 for the front and 2057 for the back.

RockAuto turn signal bulbs.

So what could be the problem then do you think?

The bulb has two filaments and I feel like the filament might be the issue, but it looks fine and it was a NEW bulb. The copper connectors inside the little socket had a lot of corrosion on it but I cleaned it all up good and it still is acting up. Any immediate thoughts? Maybe I need to get a new socket pigtail.

UPDATE: Got a new socket (the grey piece) and it works fine now!
