Blew a relay?

Edmonton,
I did something stupid because I was lazy. I put in my new heater fan motor, worked great, re-connected the battery. I pulled apart the HVAC to switch out the orange lights to a different color. Yanked the plugs from the hazard light button, rear wiper button and AC. As I was pulling the heater fan-speed control plug, I accidentally pulled the piece attached to the plug, and quickly tried to push it back in. Well, as I did this, the copper contacts touched the wrong spots on the plug side and I heard a few sparks. I should have left the battery disconnected I know. Anyway, it blew the orange bulbs, now my defrost button doesnt work and the WORST part, my heater fan-speed switch doesnt work, so again I have no heat.

I am just trying to figure out what I blew. I checked fuses, they're all good. I'm guessing there is a relay that I cooked somewhere (I HOPE thats all I did).

This is a longshot but can someone tell me what I may have blown? (AKA whats between the fan-speed switch and the fan motor itself, and how can I test it)?

The only reason I posted in this forum is becuase there is no electrical section, and I figure the tuning guys know their electric stuff.

Check your fuses.

Anytime you are messing with electrical. Rule number One. Step One. Disconnect Battery!.

If not fuses, you will need a schematic to trace back.

I checked my shop manual, and found the fuse that SHOULD have blown, checked it on the car, and sure enough it was blown (sigh of relief). Everythings good now, thanks for the reply!
