I am finished with modding the car at this point besides installing my DSMlink V3 and getting a nice A/F across the board.

Yeah, I'm happy with a T-25 on 15PSI. . Seems to work for me. A 16G spools to slow. I'd look into a 14B if i were to swap it.

carpet was painted with duplicolor spray paint for uphilstry & vinal. i'll see how it lasts. its not perfect but its cool.

i made the gauge pod with PVC and an old vent trim. i'll add picts. it looks OK. im not happy with it 100% yet.

i'm not sure how long it will last honestly. i dont normally have anyone else in the car and i keep my feet on the mats so we shall see. i need to hit up the pass side because someone got in the next day and scuffed some off. i guess it wasnt fully cured. i can always get a grey carpet from a junkyard CHEAP if i ever wanna go back.

I used 2 cans. i probably shoulda coated more so it was thicker. never did it before so i didnt wanna overdo it. i wont be driving the car much in the winter as i have a daily driver with good snow tires on it. i actually have 2 SVTF so i'm covered for vehicles. .

^^ Nice and thanks, i think if i do spray it, i will use at least 3 or 4 cans. (I always use floor mats, but still when you get as much snow as we do in Michigan...it doesn't matter , it goes everywhere.)

The spray painting of the carpet won't last. You actually need to bath dye it with RIT dye.

Damn!! I got the seats in mint condition. I would love to find the dash and a non peeling airbag for that price. my place wanted $150 for the dash and $150 for the airbag. $50 for the center console. Im getting ripped off.

it was kinda spendy payin $170 for all of that i thought....i ###### coulda got the dash cheaper at another place.

i know of a few more black dashes. i think airbags are like $35 where i go. im not paying $100 for an airbag, pshhhh.

oh, i junked the carpet, it was aftermarket, someone made it fit. i shoulda known. im back on my oem painted one now.

i found a black mint talon steering wheel w/airbag, but i dont have to have it right now. i shoulda got that when i picked up the dash.

Hate to rain on your parade but that carpet will fail. I did the same thing to my old carpet and it rubbed off on your shoes after awhile.

I found a better way to do it so anyone who is interested feel free to use this method. Members of Honda forums were going to Walmart and buying 8-10 small containers of the wet RIT Dye, a household container of salt, and a tupperware container large enough to hold your carpet. First you clean the carpet real well. Then you dump the hottest water you can get into the tupperware container, and then mix the salt into it along with the 8-10 bottles of dye and stir it all together. Then place you carpet into the dye and completely submerge it. I let my carpet sit in the dye for a week and i would move it every morning so all parts of the carpet were getting dyed. Keep it mind this is very messy so I'd suggest doing all this in your garage if you have one.

I did this well over a year ago and it still looks brand new. The key is the cleaning step and the hot water and salt. Without the hot water and salt the dye cannot penetrate the carpet. Any questions feel free to PM me.

yeah, i know it will wear. i bought some black floormats for $15. i will get around to redoing it eventually. i dobt drive the car much, and im careful to watch the carpet.

Im running to walmart right now to pic u some die . I know there are a few companies making replacement carpets in differant colors. I bought a black one for my fd3s... so im sure they have them for dsm's. I dunno if you want to spend 2-300 for carpet, but its new!!
