Was looking into the common bastard TD05 with a 20g wheel. Plan on using preturbo injection to help fight the higher outlet temps. Any companies out there making a billet 20g wheel I could use for this?

Closest billet wheel spec would be the FP HTA68, which I understand costs nearly as much as a new Evo III 16G turbo for the wheel alone.

If you're looking at buying a Bastard 20G turbo, just go ahead and buy the HTA68 and get a billet compressor for nearly the same cost.

Except that he's looking for a td05h turbine wheel I suppose. So he'll be far from what he wants. The fp green doesn't look bolton nor does it have the faster spooling td05h turbine wheel.

OP what do you want? you said td05. Are you looking for stock appearance? Or just billet with decent spool speed for the street. . . There are even hx35 turbos out there with billet compressor wheels. They spool a little faster than a 20g with the properly matched td06 turbine wheel.

Otherwise, if you must have a stock appearing turbo, the FP68hta is the only turbo that fits the bill: td05h turbine wheel, billet, and 20g compressor flow.

Considering what you're trying to do with your setup (per your comments on the water/meth injection thread), I'd get a turbine that is more balanced to the compressor flow vs. running a td05h turbine wheel/7cm^2 housing with anything that flows as much as a 20g at the compressor.

Honestly I was just looking for a “cheapish” upgrade while I had my E316G apart. The FP68hta is a bad mamajama, but I can’t justify the pricetag for the HP gained. Folks are getting some pretty crazy numbers out of the plain old big 16g these days. I’ll give that a go. Maybe add a little bit of nitrous if I think I need more power.

Thanks….
