The turbo came in this Tuesday, It took me ten minutes to get it out of all that foam stuff. LOL
for all you guys that like to crack on people no my arm isnt 1/2 in diameter I just didn't want to damage my shinny new turbo.
My only complaint is that I didn't get the little robot with the turbo that installs it for you. you guys at turbochargers.com are really slack, I mean who doesn't include the robot? Well my only serious complaint is that in big RED letters you should tell all customers to be CAREFULL not to break/bend thier oil feed lines. Oh well you can't keep all the DIYers from fing-up......

From what i heard Killer is just a name and is basically the same as a T28 they just say KILLER just to make you think its better if it is a little better im sure its a slow spooler and only 10 hp more

What part of your ass did you pull that from? Get the facts before you post b.s. like that

POP!!!!!
Did anyone else here that loud pop ?
I think that was the sound of someone pulling their head out of your ass !!!:D

Hey Rob, Even if you for some unseen reason don't care for Turbochargers.com did you at least look at the websight so you could see the difference ? There are pictires of the two sitting side by side.:)

i seen the difference but why pay the difference Saved 150 there isnt that much difference between the 2 turbos

besides the wheel being bigger..... whoopie do. you have a turbo that almost puts out the same hp numbers and spools up slower.

Could you retype those in complete sentences so I may read them & understand you & reply ?
Thankyou,
Wade

Did you say spools up slower ? Slower compared to what ?
Who , What , When , Where , How & Why ?

Im not trying to sell turbos on here and say that my turbos the best like some people. Im just saying what i have heard and read. I looked at the Killer T28 a few times and why dont you guys post the Hp numbers ?
Im not here to start some debate about why your turbo is so great, but like you were saying get the facts well go ahead and post them in this room about your Big KILLER T28 so it can end any discussion and so people looking to buy a turbo from a vendor will have all the Facts including on your turbo.

Thank U
Rob

I refuse to ruin this thread by feeding in to negativity...Facts on Horsepower #'s ? On who's motor ? With what supporting modifications ? With who tuning it ? I can tell you what the CW is capable of . But getting it there is up to your tuning capabilities & suporting modifications. In other words ... you can't just bolt on a turbo that is rated at 380 HP. on to your car & get 380HP. It is my opinion that
it will never be that way. If there is a turbo out there that you can get max efficiency & horsepower the second you bolt it on with no tuning and minimal supporting modifications , I want one .
I never claim that our turbos are the best . Thats up to our customers to decide.
Wade:)

well we all know you need to be a good tuner to get the most out of your turbo. All in all Either turbo you go with im sure that person will be happy with there decission. T28's are good its just up to the peson on weather they want to spend the extra for a different named turbo, big or Killer and get close to the same proformance huh ?

Rob, Have you looked at the pics or are you just being defensive because you already have the Agp T28? Anyway I can't wait to fire my Killer up. Good luck convincing people that the Big T28 and The Killer are the same performance wise but the Killer is more expensive. I believe that you get what you pay for. And I paid for better performance, thats why I got the KILLER.

Hey Rob you do have a point in the aspect of AGP Turbo's .
Ben & Kevin at AGP Turbo's are great guy's they have even greater product . But you are trying to compare two different turbo's .
AGP turbos is one of the few shops out there that will explain whats in your turbo to you. :thumb:

Try calling up Robert at Forced Performance and ask him what he thinks about comparing the Big28 "NOT" Big T-28 to the T-28 Killer. FP has alot of fast and PROVEN times with there turbos over at DSM times.org. Correct me if I'm wrong here, but isn't the T-28 killer considered a HYBRID? Plus... I don't think to many people were ever really to satisfied with the so called 16g killer either. I'm not putting down Turbochargers.com at all, because I have heard great things about them. Just my 2 cents worth.

:thumb: Thats all i want from all the Turbo companys i dont want someone to say wow thats a bad ass turbo you have there how much hp can you get from that or claimed hp and you have to say well im not really sure  its good to have a hp number to work with:thumb:

Whos not drinking?
If you said yes you're wrong.
And this debate can go on and on but we still have two companies with great people helping out dsmers, what could be better. I like the debate about which Turbo is better but I don't want to turn it into which person/company is better or start a flame war. I did try and go to agpturbo.com but I keep on getting an error.
I would just like to see how many CFM's the agp T-28 turbo flows, because that is how I thought you could compare all turbos. Am i wrong?

Thats what i was trying to figure out between all the turbos but only like agp gives you all the info i just wish they would all come out and say ok out max hp out of our turbos is ....... and flow rates ......

hehe.. common mistake people make when installing and removing turbos. Failing to remove the negative terminal from the battery and short circuit at the alternator cause the fuseable link to break.

I hope you enjoy your new turbo. Time to pick some race :)

LoL i seen a little spark when i was pulling off my heat sheild for the turbo so i was like i dont want to blow anything good thing i did cause i would have done what you did :p but no worries we all learn form these fun installs sometimes we  while installing the turbos, but after finishing up the install OMG wow this thing kicks a$$ and leting others know of what not to do and do is great and a big help and even more help to people that dont do alot of wrench turning:thumb:

Hey If you're a DIYer and don't want all your bolt next to impossible to remove. Use anti-seize! its like 7$ for an 8 oz bottle which in my opinion looks like enough to do your entire car. i know i wont regret it when I buy an 02 sensor housing or when I decide to port my turbo.
Use Anti-Seize!
