Big Problem !!! please HELP !!!

hey guys im having a problem with my car, it isnt pulling like it should, and i cant hear the turbo spool, the boost gauge still reads like the same it would , and also it doesnt blow off right, it still blows off hard but its only like a half sneeze then what it usually is , it blows off but it sounds like it stops mid way, i immediately took the intake off to look at the turbo and the fins are good, and i spun the wheel and it still spun, but it only spun around a couple times before stopping
im not sure if the turbo is beat or what ??

The turbo should free spin all day. The turbo is most likely shot.
Get a 14B now.

Sorry, Didnt see you had a S16G.
Try a boost leak test on it before buying a New Turbo.

Is there any shaft play?
sounds like your turbo is going out.
It should spin for a long time...

Check for shaft play on the turbo for a lot of side to side. If the shaft moves in and out then it needs rebuilt. As everyone else said, it should spin freely easily.

Have you noticed any blue smoke out the tail when you go WOT?

no smoke at all for some reason it seems like the wheel is being restricted, what would cause this ? and if it was a boost leak wouldnt it break up if i held it in boost?

If its on its last legs then yes possibly. I will assume that if you keep driving it, it will start to smoke soon. If the turbo has shaft play i suggest you rebuild it and stop driving it.

Could be just a bad pick of a Turbo. For it to spin, then lock, then its pointing at the bearings. Or you sucked something into the turbo, but I doubt that.
I dont know why I said boot leak test. Probably cause thats what I need to do with mine. Sorry about that.
I would start un-hooking the turbo, and just get a new one, or a rebuild kit.

and what would it be if i have no shaft play?

just went over the whole car, and the car has no boost leaks, the turbo spins freely and has very minimal to no shaft play any way, so i started it up and it sounded like an exhaust leak coming from the manifold, so then i took it for a drive, and the car has no power under boost, but the boost gauge still reads about 17psi and around 15-16 in vac, i have no clue what the problem is, also the car yesterday and today when i went to start it up it started ran for a second then died, it did it a few times yesterday and once today, but then i started it again and it stayed running, its also a little choppy at idle but when driving it runs smooth, i am so confused please help !!!!!
