Is there a size limit on injectors when tuning with a safc? The biggest iv seen were 660's but my plan was to buy 850's or in that range. Would i still be able to tune easly and effectivly with that set up, Or ould injector dead time become a issue with that size with out compinsation?

850 is pushing it. 720's is the most I would go with. What's your setup and what are you looking to put down? 660's are good for 400awhp if you bump up the fuel pressure a bit.

The AFC can reliably control injectors that are +/- 50% of the stock injector size (440).
I'd have to agree that 720's would be pushing it at the end of the rope.

Im only looking for 400-450hp in the end. Iv tried to find examples from other members set ups and iv seen huge injectors on 350hp cars??

So far iv got small 16g thats only tempory and all supporting stuff for over 500 horse. I just wanted to play around with tuning with the 16g before i put my holset on.

+1 on a better engine management. Running bigger injectors is accomplished by showing your ecu LESS air than is actually is occurring, this is fine, but timing advance is increased with lower Hz values. So the larger the injectors you are running, the more timing advance you are going to see. You'll be able to get a good bit more out of your car with more complete control over whats going on. ECU+ is a good alternative to dsmlink if you dont have an eprom and are looking to keep it a little cheaper.

Ok i never knew it would advance timing the bigger injector i go with safc thanks for the info though! I was just gona give a shop my car and get them to tune it for 500 bucks i guess that should still be my route, after the turbo swap though.
