Big enough compressor?

is a 5HP 25 Gallon air compressor big enough to paint with? my guns run 21psi in and 10psi while the paint is actually spraying out

it will work but i would recommend a much larger compressor. the tank will loose pressure really fast with spraying hvlp. make sure to run a moisture separator before hose and at the gun also with a small compressor as you will get moisture quicker since it will almost constantly be running.

also make sure its a continuous duty compressor or it could overheat and pop the fuse on the motor till it cools off.

Check the CFM on the compressor and then see what your gun uses.
