I think i like them better then the TCE kit..But only time will tell..

Yeah i know..well i do have lighters rims 16-17lbs each they say...also the hood and no back seats and racing seats..

Awesome looking car bro!

I had driven this car and the brakes are absolutely amazing. Even the 2 piston GSX brakes are pale in comparison with this Rotora setup.

Now I want one for my car.

I guess they're cute looking, but can you tell me why you need that much of a brake on a street car?

Hmmm...Maybe to stop.. :) and who said its only a street car....last time i check you dont know my mods...

Not to change the subject but...

Is that the hyperblack finish on your 5 Zigens, or the silver? What width and offset?

Thanks

uhoh... i think someone is jellous! It is never a bad idea to upgrade if you have the cash... Plus now his car looks like it cost a million bux. And besides, no one can argue the stock 2g brakes will cause you to panic when you slam em' after the finish line doing 100mph. OMG

Looks amazing! And im sure it stops better too.. ;)

Well, and please don't take this the wrong way, your car certainly does not look like it's set up for endurance racing, where that kind of brake surface area is needed. Nor is it needed for doing hot-laps at a track.

Judging by the fact that you got them cross drilled and slotted, well... That's not what you want on a road racing vehicle.

How about some detail on that kit? Your profile doesn't seem to tell the whole story (I just see Brembo rotors and your pads)

EDIT: Somebody dropped the name Rotura? Got a link?

I think it was Kindergarten where we learned if we didn't have anything nice to say, not to say anything at all...

Did you click on my profile by mistake, because his says that he's running "stock" motor and "stock" suspension.

I listed my pads and my rotors.

Anyone that has installed a big brake kit with fixed calipers would know they make a BIG difference even on the STREET.

No Guesses - if you don't know, don't reply - don't spread misinformation (no "I think" or "I guess" or "I've heard").

the rotora brakes are pretty good.

and you never know what he might have on his car, he might have set it as stock info but who changes their stuff everytime they get a new part. I sure don't.

Looks Good! Now you need to do some weight reduction to offset difference in stock brakes

My 4-piston, 13" big brake kit weighed 7 pounds lighter than the stock brakes PER CORNER.

Thanks for all the good replys..The brake kit name is rotora..The calipers seem to be close design to the Wilwood kit aka TCE.... The rotors are 330mm.....But if i was to do a track day i would put the TCE kit on or my slot rotors with the Rotora kit....The rims are Gunmetal 18x8 with 43 off set tires are 235 40...Thanks for all the replys here is the website for more info

Looks like I did click on your profile by mistake :)

So Prodigy, have a url link with more detail on that kit?

I'm interested in seeing what they did. Not sure I would put it on my car, but I'd like to see what they are about, since I have never heard of Rotora before.
