Next mod planned is big brakes. I was looking at tce's 13" kit front and rear. The car is a 96 gsx built 2.0 6235 turbo, standalone........ puts down just under 600whp. I need something that will give me better stopping power, save rotating mass, and look good doing it. Ive looked around and have been having a hard time finding a brake weight discussion. The car will not autocross. Mainly street driving, minimal track time. Any imput would be appreciated. Heres tce's site. All I could find is shipping weight not rotor weight.Eclipse - Kits

Sidetrack since you're here Todd, can you do something for the Evo 1/2/3 rear brake setup that retains the factory-style e-brake (not drum-in-hat), without going with a 2-caliper setup?

Todd, I would love to purchase a 4-wheel "as light weight as possible" street kit from you. I don't need a parking brake. Pm me when you have time. Thanks

Give this article a read. It will explain why Stoptech does not make a rear kit for these or most cars.

Rear Brake Upgrades

If you are replacing the rear brakes just for looks then this won't really apply.
