ok so here is the deal... i bought another 95 Talon TSI for $500 to replace the blue one i had after i made the colossal mistake of taking it all the way apart and i found a crap load of stuff wrong with it.... turns out it cost me as much if not a lot less to buy this TSI as it would have to repair the 96 i picked up about 6 months ago (the frame under the floor board was crushed in a couple of spots, the back end was rusted out worse than i thought, and the body was twisted pretty good. the frame straightening alone starts at $350).
only really annoying thing is that someone had taken and shot the living crap out of the car with a paint ball gun. now there is this thick layer of orange Goo all over the front end of the car and all inside the engine bay. does anyone know the best way to clean this stuff up. i have tried to let it soak by constantly getting it wet, been scrubbing on it with a green scrubby and simple green... i dont have a pressure washer so i havent tried that yet but i might be able to borrow one. i even tried engine degreaser... if you have any suggestions that might work let me know.
thanks.
