Best Street Tires For Drag Racing

General Altimax Arctic 12 tires are still made and I still run them on my cars year-round. Nokian Hakkapellitta 10 are still being made.

Awesome, thanks. I did see those, but the tread patterns appear slightly different on the old hakkapeliitta vs new models so I wasn't sure if they would still be as effective at the track. Are the general 12s the same as the ones you were running at the time?

So I guess those of us in Florida are limited to drag radials only?

I ran Hakka 2 and RSI models and the original Altimax Arctic tires, I have been using the Arctic 12's on my DD's for years with no issues, they are a bit quieter than the original ones. I haven't drag raced on them since the last time I even went down the track was like 2019 in my eclipse on slicks. I would expect the snows to be at the same level as they were back in the old days.
