Hey guys I am just about ready to do front wheel bearings on my car and i was wondering what you guys thought where the best quality, and longest lasting. I dont wanna buy a set then have them be garbage again in a year.

do you suggest new hubs or just the wheel bearings?

2g's come as a whole hub/bearing. I'm an OEM guy myself for many parts. I would recommend OEM and even though something has a lifetime warranty just remember that does not mean it will last forever.

ok oem it is. thank you but I do know the difference bettween sealed hubs and pressed hubs

Maybe I'm too late, but...

I'm not sure who makes the OE wheel bearings, but even if it isn't Beck-Arnley, are people sure that OE is better than Beck-Arnley? Yes, the wheel bearings on eBay (which are often Timkens) are not as good, but I'm not sure if buying something from a dealer is better than the Beck-Arnleys that I used.

im not going ebay. or napa in this matter ### they were gonna sell me cup and bearings too press in.

The Beck-Arnleys runs $98.79 on Rockauto and the OEM from mitsparts runs $116.85. This is a 18 dollar difference before shipping. OEM has always been good to me and it always insures proper fitment. I know that there are many quality made parts by "aftermarket" companies and have no doubt that many last, but I just prefer the OEM replacement when the price difference is minimal and funds allow it. I am in no way saying that OEM is the only answer, but it is my recommendation to purchase these parts when the budget allows.

I don't know who the OE supplier is. I'd probably trust beck-Arnley though. Hell, I'd even give Timken a shot. Anytime I've used their rearend bearings, I've always been satisfied.

Personally, I've only ever purchased OEM hub assemblies, so it's all I feel comfortable recommending. That's definitely not to say another brand/supplier isn't of equal quality though.

alright guys youve made my mind up. im gonna go oem. ill do oem ball joints and maybe tie rods while im in there. anything else you guys can think of to replace while im in there? ill check cv's

The N/A 2g eclipses have press in and the turbo has bolt in. I am thankful for this.
