Where would the best place for afpr gauge to be for the best accurate reading? On the fuel rail, fuel filter, or on the afpr unit itself? Or does it really even matter?

Do you want just the gauge or the whole afpr with gauge?Ive seen them on summit, they go after the filter. But an afpr with gauge is your best bet.

Shouldnt you have an afpr with gauge allready?

Yes it came with the kit I was wondering I have seen different fuel pressure as it being on the fuel filter then on the afrp unit and it being different then both of them on the fuel rail itself. So I was wondering If it doesn't matter what spot it's in as long as it is on the correct fuel pressure number? Or does it need be reading from a specific location.

I'm no expert, but I would say as long as the gauge is accurate and filled with fuel, it SHOULD read correctly..

In theory ^ is what SHOULD happen..

I dont have mine on yet or I could give you my experience..

Right at the regulator is usually how they are set up, Since its what regulates the pressure knowing there would be the reason to have the gauge and adjust accordingly, anywhere else would just complicate things no?

Don't try and reinvent the wheel.

I have mine on the end of my AEM rail. It measures the pressure after filling the fuel rail, and before it enters the line to the AFPR to be bled off, and would be the best. Depending on what size fuel lines you use, it may change the pressure, so I prefer pressure at the rail, as that is the pressure the injectors are seeing, and therefore the pressure you need to be concerned about.
