Best Nitrous Kit Bang For the $$ ?

What's the best price on a nitrous kit you can get from a reliable company that DSM'ers use?

I've seen those eBay sniper kits go for around $320 but are they good? I heard they need extra parts and stuff.. My mechanic says to try and stay away from Ebay. I got a used 5LB Nitrous holley bottle but he says to get a new one then we'll install it on my car.

Any recommendations? Looking for a wet kit that's affordable & reliable and been tested by forum members possibly if I'm asking too much let me know please

I'm not sure who's gonna have the best price but as far as "bang for the buck" the best as far as HP per dollar is concerned is a Single nozzle wet kit- usually has a 10 lb bottle good for a decent amount of fun before filling it (5lbs would go knda fast.- Easy install and up to 150-175hp can be added with a single nozze spraying nitrou and fuel in before the throttle body valve... These kits can be bolted to any fuel injected engine out there and jetted accordingly, it's really a universalsetup and not meant for any certain car. Lots of people here use nitrous, but those who do are experience enough in it that the probably didn't post about the kit and testing it as they for the most part in basic form either work or not..nitrous is safe and can make big power, but, not study what you're doing and jet it wrong or have a system thta's falling apart and not maintaned and you'll be exploding intake manifolds and popping holes through pistons faster than you can say "2 furious"

A step below is the "sniper style" type setup that's hidden but is only good for minimal time on a tiny bottle you have to pay and drop off to fill just like the rest of the systems a good size bottle is important, you don't want to be out of nitrous on the "test run"

Direct Port costs much more and is for usually ranges of 250HP and up, goes in each cyulinder runner all the extra parts is the cost skyrocketing, you can go as crazy as your pocket will allow, soeniods, purges, multiple stages BIG TIME HP, but need multi[ple bottls uisually to support a nitrou habbit of this size..

really I only use nitrous for a spooling aid or as a "last resort" to pull on some one.. getting it fillled is not only priocey over time but a PITA because of dropping off and picking it up, waiting, not being able to fill when they fill place isn't open etc..etc.. Just run more boost instead of nitrous Just kidding i love the gas but not for the main power adder

I like the sniper kits, doesn't really matter where you get the kit. Amazon, Ebay, Jegs, or summit. it's all going to be the same. Reason I see those kits sale cheaper is because you get smaller silenoid not very reliable after 150hp, smaller tank only comes with a 5lb tank, less jet selection usually only good for 125hp which most turbo guys don't use. I've install alot of the sniper kits. And I have to say best bang for the buck.
