Best Location For Wideband Sensor?

Hey guys I have a quick question. I will be installing my aem wideband tomorow and everywhere I read it says to get the sensor bung welded directly before the cat. In my case I dont have a cat and my exhaust is straight back after turbo and one resonator right before the muffler. There is one o2 sensor which I see thats in the middle of the car and it sits a little before where the second resonator once used to be(I see resonator has been cut and a straight pipe welded in place). So back to my question, where is the best place to mount this sensor? Thanks in advance!

if you hook up the wideband on to the 02 housing then what do you do with the other 02 sensor? I don't have a ecmlink yet but im planning to get one since I installed a vta BOV.

I probably should get it welded on the downpipe but yeah until then what happens to the 02 sensor plug? If I get the innovated wideband kit does it have a delete plug for it? is it included or is the car going to run like a piece of crap without it or do I have to mess with the ecmlink and replace it with a wideband setting?

If I'm understanding you, you're asking what happens to the original o2 harness (ecu side)?

You leave it alone and wire up the innovate wideband directly to the ecu. However, theoretically, you can wire it into the original o2 harness, but you'll have to verify sensor ground and still route the calibration wire in-cabin. Wiring directly to the ecu harness is convenient because everything is all in the same location. For an LC-1 install you can see my guide:

The only difference is the ecu pin to wire it into. The o2 signal for the 1g is pin 4.

I put mine right after the bend close to the oil pan. Not too far away but not close enough to get burnt up. Ive had this wideband In 3 different car and that has been my rule of thumb
