Best location for wb 02 sensor

hmm hopefully its wired correctly and which "p" setting you are using, there can be some hiccups. Is it the uego ? Glad to hear you got a wideband, its a great point of direction to assist in your tuning, hopefully your not actually leaning out..

Yeah its aem. I just bought the car I've had dsm for while been on this site for years haha but back to matter at hand. I know its wired right it never gets below 17afr car won't run with those afr I thought?

Well the location is not that bad, it should read something other than constant lean:confused:
There is a rotatory switch on the back of the gauge to calibrate and i found the pdf file to install if you would like to check the wiring with better diagram. Maybe previous owner installed wrong, it should be same model

Yea must be frustrating, it makes you paranoid on a/f ratioWTF
Dont be surprised if the bosch o2 sensor they supply with this kit goes bad, sometimes it happens. But as long as its positioned at a 10 degree angle, and has the correct signal, should work. Trace wire down to o2 harness wire Try the p0 setting, your pretty much using power and ground wires only at the moment.

Well looks like the 02 sensor may be the culprit, check it out and let us know what happens

If there are any exhaust leaks before the sensor it will also read lean. But if its staying a constant 17 I'd suspect the sensor as well. I've had my o2 4" upstream from the cat on my 3" and haven't had issues, its only been on a couple months though

It moves from 17.5 to --- but never out of that range except when i start my car it starts at 14.8 then climbs to those numbers.

Hmmm, that's weird, my car does the exact opposite... while its warming up from a cold start I see 16.5-17.1, after about 30 seconds it slowly climbs to 14.8.

I always figured that would be normal? Running a little lean to warm it up? It also only does it on mornings 50* and below.

Are you tuning with anything? If I screw around and richen up my safc a few % just after start up the lean reading goes away sooner.

Na it has a chip in it but I've thrown the stock chip in and it does the same thing.

i couldnt sleep so i went and checked my calibration it was on p04 now its on p00

I figured it was off on the p setting, i had to set mine on p0...Did it solve the issue bro?

dang, one problem to another..another daily driver beater to the rescue hopefully

Yeah ill bring it back to par the linkage is out already and waiting for new one and hope hope to get trans out soon.

And I meant clutch fork not shift fork.
