It's a good thing I don't have enough time off to travel.. I'd be travelling across the country to get some of these. the 1gs. I don't care about the 2gs.
 
Well thats why I post good ads too just in case someone wants to rescue a good car. Its how I finally found my 6/4 auto and teased everyone with the ad while I was driving it home. What a dick move :idontknow:

So I drove it to work today, man it was hot out but the A/C kept me nice and comfy......:p
 
I've seen this car on Facebook prior to now where the owner claimed, like on this page, that the engine has 175psi on all 4 cylinders. However, unlike on the craigslist ad, on facebook, he also claims it needs a new head gasket. Seems to me this tard is just dishonest about the car

It's possible the gasket is leaking out somewhere else..That or it's overheating and the guy just thinks its the head gasket when it's actually the water pump.

I was pretty close to buying a car that was in north carolina for 3k with a holset swap but when I asked the guy to do a compression test and send me pictures he refused.. I'm not driving from NY to NC on a mystery engine.

I agree on not buying a mystery. He had to have been hiding something. Hopefully I'll be picking up a GSX this week. The current owner freely told me it's been sitting for 2 years and that he only parked it because I wouldn't start one day (which he ended up fixing after buying a truck). So we jumped it and it started up like it had never been sitting that long.
 
Definitely riced out with the body kit. But I gotta say at least it is clean. So many of the cars that go down that road end up as wrecked out or unfinished hunks of crap that no one would ever touch again.

It may be rare, but every add I've seen for a real VR4, the owners tend to included the numbered badge, this one doesn't and the tail lights don't even look right (to me). No engine shot? Kinda odd that this ad is in the Colorado Springs sales page, but the map shows California, and has CA tags.
