OK so i spun a rod bearing in my 96 eagle talon tsi fwd. so i tore down my motor and had it hot tanked and the crank cut and polished block honed brushed cleaned etc. i got a friend that is gonna build it for me since i don't trust myself.. anyways besides that. i need a rebuild kit.. preferably i want to buy it as a kit so i have everything i need. oil pump, pistons, rods, all gaskets, water pump, timing belt "preferably Kevlar", main and rod bearings, piston rings, and timing belt components, tensioner, pulleys etc and maybe head-studs but i figured id be buying arp separate anyways .. so basically i want a kit like this. >> 95 99 Mitsubishi Eclipse Turbo Engine Rebuild Kit 4g63 | eBay but not cheap where its gonna break after being built. i am keeping this motor stock as possible but still good enough to handle 14psi on a 14b turbo as a daily driver while i build a 6bolt for a 2g gsx project.
So question is.. is there a kit like the one on ebay that isnt as cheap but not expensive as hell.. and second would this kit be alright for a stock rebuild for daily driving?
Oh and yes i have searched this site and several other sites including mad searches on google ebay. EVERYWHERE and can only find what i am looking for on ebay, but have no idea what the brands are. All the posts on here are about rebuild kits for a 6 bolt in which im not trying to rebuild for this car. So please don't tell me to scrap it and find a 6 bolt. I like this car with the 7 bolt and going to keep it that way.. thanks for the concern tho..
